"There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls."
– George Carlin

The Banshee* by Henry Cowell (1925) performed by Mirela Zhulali here

Today included a trip to the official tapu office on business related to management issues at our complex. Other than that, it was a quiet day that included swimming in the pool - the weather is wonderful, every day really warm and sunny now - and rather too much housework.

A banshee is a female spirit in Irish folklore who heralds the death of a family member, usually by screaming, wailing, shrieking, or keening. (Wikipedia)
