The Lane

That’s what it’s affectionately called at the caravan site. It the single track road running outside the site that leads to the main A66. It also leads to our old watering hole The Sportsman’s which is no more unfortunately.
Took this on my way to Penrith where I went to buy a few things for my short break in The Trossachs. It looks very colourful in autumn.
