Dark nights

A busy day of video calls and emails. And a phone call from the hospital asking if I could bring J a pair of “lightweight trainers with Velcro fastening” to help his mobility.
When I visited this evening they seemed surprised that I hadn’t managed to magically find a pair while I am working - though with some lunch break googling a pair should be delivered tomorrow. Which I will then take after work.
