Staycation Day 5: Sunshine park

Today we went down to Portsmouth with Granddad and had a look at all of Mum's childhood houses! I was commissioned as family photographer to take pictures of Mum & Granddad outside of each. I think it went well! The day was beautifully sunny and we got to see lots of the area (we even walked past the famous Southsea Pie & Vinyl store!) before rushing out at 4:00 to beat the rush hour.

Much like yesterday there seemed to be loads of traffic and queues everywhere all day, as well as loads of roadworks and random building projects going on all over the place - not sure when everything around here got so crazy!

This is a shot from Baffin's Pond (dolled up to look all film-like), a place Mum waxes lyrical about regularly. It is a pretty place, and it has willow trees, which is always good!
