Grutness Chickens

A frosty calm morning, lovely sunshine too.  A breezy and more cloudy afternoon.  Tonight has been rain and gales.  Cold all day.

Up at 5am, a 12hr early shift in the airport.  A mix of jobs today, check-in desk, meeting and boarding flights, also a bit of time at oil and gas flights.  All flights on time or early.  Working around the house this evening, then mam popped by for a cuppa.  No walkies tonight, too wet for Sammy.  New series of Shetland drama started again tonight.  Off to bed early.

I knew the weather was going to be bad this evening, so I took the opportunity to get out for a walk on my breaks.  I nipped over the fence to speak with some ponies, when a flock of chickens came charging by.  The one in front was very inquisitive, she followed around, having a sniff to see if I had some nibbles.  Most of them were busy doing what chickens do, rummaging.  Taken at Grutness, Sumburgh.
