Snowy day

With the snow forecast to start around 10 am I decided to go for a walk before it started. Back to Shubie and followed almost the same route that I did yesterday. Not as many chickadees around today and many of the squirrels seemed to be staying in the trees. The juncos were out and it is usually hard to get a good photo of them, they are skittish.
The snow started just as I was walking across the parking lot, just a few light flakes at that time. It continued snowing until about 6 pm. I did have to go out this afternoon, I had an appointment to get 2 new tires put on the truck. Fortunately when I called them on Monday they had an opening today. With the snow today everyone wanted to get winter tires put on their vehicles. By the time I left there this afternoon the next available appointment was on Nov 16.  I have to go back then to get some work done on the front brakes.
The next question will be, will all the snow have melted by tomorrow afternoon? Or will we have to delay the last 2 garden cleanups until next week? Sunshine in the forecast and a high of 5 C tomorrow, then a high of 10 on Friday. It hard to believe we had record breaking high temperatures on Saturday. Welcome to Nova Scotia, where we get all 4 seasons in one week.
