From the Outlet Track

This is where the Clutha River starts its journey and I haven’t walked this track since the trees were bare.  It was rather a drab sort of day so it was a lovely surprise to see the trees full of new leaves and the water mostly calm.  Now, as forecast, it is pouring with rain.
