Berries

A funny day (as in strange) had a visit from the firearms officer to access any reflection on status with current health issue, he went away happy. Made a phone call to a friend who moved to the Scottish highlands and we had fallen into only exchanging Christmas cards, he has also had a valve op. Again very positive feedback for me. The weather was threatening and the day slipped away watching documentaries. While out with the dogs for one of their comfort breaks I noticed that the Holly berries are beginning to drop or are being picked by the birds. The female tree is slightly yellow leafed compared to the male I have not noticed this before in previous years so slightly worried for its welfare.
