The Flamingo Riders, Snow Bunny Edition!

Another adventure starring the Dancing Girls. . . .

Well, they didn't get much of a pumpkin riding expedition last week, due to the extremely breezy conditions at the local Arboretum. So those Dancing Girls were ready to RIDE. I brought them indoors a few days ago because it was getting to be too cold out for them. They're not used to being indoor sorts of girls. So they were anxious to get some fresh air and stretch their toes.

The big development overnight, though, was that we had our first real snow. We got an inch or so. It was enough to coat everything with fluffy white stuff, and it was awfully pretty, and fun to walk around in, if you are a snow lover.

So I took the Dancing Girls out to Barb's Butterfly Garden / Ellen's Bulb Garden, where the pink flamingos live. They too will be coming indoors soon, as I don't expect they are made of tough enough stuff to be frozen all winter long. You can see a few red salvia flowers behind them still in bloom; how the hummingbirds adored those, all summer long!

And then those three Dancing Girls mounted up, and they rode those three flamingos to their hearts' content! Hooray for the Dancing Girls starring as flamingo riders; this is, of course, the special snow bunny edition.  :-)

Our soundtrack song is Foghat, with Slow Ride.
