Wednesday in Whitstable

Mr C and I have come away to Whitstable for a couple of days.  We arrived around lunchtime, parked up and had a walk around town.  Not long into our walk when we had a heavy downpour and got pretty wet even with an umbrella.  A stop in a cafe for coffee and a sandwich and by the time we had finished the rain had also stopped and the sun came out.  

Lots of lovely independent shops to browse around and I look forward to having another nose around on Friday.  We walked along the coastal path for a bit before heading to our air bnb nearby.  A little bijou place but perfect for our short stay.

In the evening we headed back into town for dinner at the Whitstable Oyster Co.  A delicious meal was had.  It was dry when we finished so we had another stroll around.

Our first visit here and so far so good.

Ps we think the car park prices are a bit steep, especially at this time of year.
