Still Soggy

Storm Ciaran missed us in terms of its worse effects, but we’ve still had rain most of the day - 15.2mm as at 5pm with lots of rain due this evening, but no strong winds. I suspect we’ll have had half of our average rainfall for Nov in the first two days. I’ve been feeling really rough today with some bug, so haven’t done anything apart from receiving my Sainsbury delivery and listening to the Covid enquiry. I didn’t sleep well last night either because of feeling rough. I got my little delivery from the timber merchant this morning, the lovely driver insisted on carrying it to where I wanted it. I feel so sorry for those affected by Storm Ciaran, particularly the scenes on tv from the Channel Islands.
