Woodland Umbrellas

They were tiny and I imagined lots of fairies sheltering underneath them.
It may have been very wet in the wood this morning, but our walk was lovely. The dampness always heightens the woody smells, and there was not a soul to be seen.
This afternoon I took Maggie to her appointment in Glenrothes, then afterwards we went to MacDonalds for tea. She was delighted, me - not so much! But it was Maggie’s treat. The drive home in the dark in constant rain, on very wet roads wasn’t pleasant.
