Thursday: Flowers in the Rain

Woke up at 6:30 this morning to the sound of heavy rain, it continued off and on until late morning, I popped out to take today’s Blip & started humming … flowers are calendula which have been in flower all summer, they have scattered their seeds too!

I spent an hour or two trying to find an answer to a query from a DNA cousin, but ended up revisiting my early years at secondary school - the person under scrutiny might have been my Physics teacher … not sure how I can confirm this …

Rain stopped by lunchtime, I gathered all the piles of leaves which the rain had brought down and tipped them near the clump of grass where the hedgehogs have made their home, the leaves might provide some shelter when the weather gets really wintry :-)
