Tonsillitis

The teenager has tonsillitis for the first time ever. I had to take this photo of the back of her throat for the e-consult with the GP. Apparently the white patch is infection.

She’s never had it before and I know she must be feeling like hell because she hasn’t eaten and last night she slept in my bed with me. I couldn’t tell you the last time she chose to do that.

Antibiotics now started so hopefully she will be better soon! Typical that it’s during half term!
