after the rain

We got into the car at 8.30 pm just as the rain stopped and were surrounded by about 20 of what I think were dragonflies. They stayed with us as we reversed out of the driveway. James thought they may have been attracted to our bright red car. These two remained on the windscreen just long enough for me to photo, then flew off.

Pity about the dirt on the windscreen!
