High tide

The photo doesn’t do it justice, the waves were crashing. All the flood gates closed and locked. It was a wild windy night and morning, and it’s a good thing the castle was closed as I couldn’t have got out of the village with both roads out blocked by fallen trees. 

A final appointment at the vets this evening. Ear infection cleared, abscess completely healed and only mild dry eye syndrome in one eye. He can share my eye drops! The whole episode has aged him though. He will play in the evening if I initiate it,  but no longer bounces around trying to get my attention. Just sleeps a lot!
