There was a fashion show in the local community hall tonight, celebrating the 100th year of the local agricultural show (you get all the good events here). This little sweetie, daughter of a work colleague, was one of the stars of the show, strutting her stuff with the best of them. Elsie and Hannah were a bit wistful. 'Will WE ever be in a fashion show' asked Hannah. My dad was secretary for the show from 1959 - 64, the thing I remember most was getting leftover number cards (each entry got a printed ID number) to cut out the numbers. God, that was a long time ago.

The weather took a turn for the better again today, hope it lasts for the weekend.
