Duck

We walked by the river into Stratford after lunch heading for the marina where a new café has been set up. We didn't go in for a drink as the place was deserted, though it does have a nice patio area overlooking the water.

We actually had coffee in BHS for a change, not really an independent, but not one of the chains. The only reason for going there is that their café has the best view in Stratford, overlooking the canal basin and Waterside to the RSC. The coffee is mediocre. Unfortunately they have spoilt the view a little by putting mesh up along the balcony. I'm not sure if this is to keep the birds off, or to stop people throwing themselves over.

Later we watched Andy Murray in the quarter finals at Queens.
