Now we have everything

I'm going in WHAT?

We had to stay home for most of today to take delivery of the courtesy car. My face dropped when it pulled up: it's a pukey purple peugeot 107. It is technically 5 door but the back seats are practically in the boot. And the boot is practically non existent.

Seeing as we missed the drop-in with Emily and Kelly this morning, I thought we'd catch them up for coffee and cake at Baskervilles tea shop in Palmers Green. It's only a ten minute drive away but I couldn't wait to get out of the car. Going back to a manual gearbox was funny enough but the car is so plastic inside it actually felt unsafe. Paranoid mum is back again! I was bit of a nervous wreck by the time I met the girls.

Still, we had a better day than Emily who was brought to tears in her parenting course (Enfield's version of Baby Wonder Weeks). They were talking about sleep and the health visitor who was running it made her cry! Apparently she should be putting Oscar down to sleep awake and shouldn't be rocking him or shushing him. She was told outright that he's took attached to her and reliant on her to sleep - hence why he's not sleeping through. Awful. I don't think I've met a decent health visitor yet.

When Charlie was in bed Robin and I put up the new addition to his playroom. A chalkboard fireplace to go on the chimney breast. It came in five pieces and took an hour to put up.
