Tracey's Lizard
Tai Chi in the morning and a Zoom meeting with the Girl's Aloud group in the evening to fill the gap left by the club meeting that was cancelled very late. We began with a demo by Glenys, who showed how she was edit an image of the foreshore leading to Bamburgh Castle, taken at twilight. We were trying to `encourage' the idea of looking at an image with a more critical eye in order to lead the eye though and bring out some key areas of the scene wit a bit of `dodging and burning' - in our case it was by using the mask tools in Lightroom (everyone in the group seemed to have access to Lightroom and/or PS.
The image I've shared was from later in the evening when Tracey began to share some of the images she took on her South African safari. The immediate response from GG and I was, `Don't crop this one'. The pattern of the wooden panel + the lizard had immediate impact for both of us.
