Mum

FRIDAY

It's 18 years since I lost my lovely Mum and today would have been her birthday. 

She never really celebrated the day as she lost her own mother on this day in 1940.

This photograph was taken in Blackpool on 3 May 1980. I had just bought a new car and decided to take my Mum and Dad for a little drive.  They had been doing jobs around the house and I told them not to bother getting changed as we weren't going far. Anyway, we ended up in Blackpool, some 70 miles away.

It was a good day out.
