Yesterday

No pictures taken today so this is one from yesterday - a lovely church on our walk, lots of history - something about Queen Etherburga?  Lovely name but don't suppose it will be making a comeback any time soon?

Today was storm Ciaran but by about 11.00 the wind and rain had died down so not sure what all the fuss was about?  I drove over to No.1 and picked up crumpets (to go with homemade tomato soup) and a Toaster on the way.  For some reason they don't have a toaster and the grill takes ages!

No.1 was still tired but feeling a bit better than yesterday and we spent a nice afternoon relaxing and watching the Elvis film on the TV.  Still no response from the doctor or the hospital - despite being told that the email had been forwarded to him?  Almost a week now and no response from anyone!!  It feels like knocking your head against the wall.  Hoping for a better day tomorrow.
