No water On My Back!

We went to the local reserve to use their Wi-Fi in order to post yesterday's blips. No parking places left! Gosh, they're busy, which is good for them. Instead we went to the garden centre next door for morning coffee.

Arriving back a while later we managed to park and had a walk around with the cameras. At this time of year you just have to be content with the beauty of the common mallards and Canada geese. Well this female mallard is certainly showing off the fabulous blue colour of her speculum as she shakes off the water from her wings and back.

After having lunch and using the Wi-Fi we went to have a look round Stafford. We needed to ask directions to the shops: "Round that corner - what's left of them!" was the downbeat reply from a local.
