Abstract Thursday - Storm Ciaran

This ended up being a backblip (so uploaded today, Friday). I took it yesterday morning during the heavy rain which Storm Ciaran threw at us (fortunately here in the northeast we didn't get the awful winds). It's a close-up of our bathroom window (the obscure glass provided most of the texture) with the autumn colour of our cherry tree in the garden behind.  The abstract bluish shape is a raindrop on the outside of the window - I'm not sure exactly why it came out that way but I rather like it, it looks almost like a tiny bird! Thanks as always to Ingeborg for hosting.

I never got roung to uploading it yesterday as it was the day for Part 2 of Son#2's heart treatment (for the rhythm disturbances related to the surgery he had as a baby for his congenital heart disease). His treatment took all afternoon and went into the evening, so by the time we got back from visiting him on ITU afterwards it was a bit late for blipping. The procedure was tricky but mostly went well although they weren't able to do everything they wanted on this occasion - so he has to look forward to Part 3 in about 3 month's time. But we've spoken to him on the phone this morning and he's in good spirits.
