Flower Friday

Yesterday the woollen poppies draped over the cross outside church looked soaking wet and rather bedraggled. Today they look to have recovered as it is sunny and quite breezy.  I'm guessing they can pass muster for Flower Friday? :-). Tittle Tattle this morning and then a singing rehearsal for the nativities with the primary school. On the way home I got caught by the 2 Jehovah's Witnesses who often sit at the cenotaph.  However, they are very pleasant ladies, and one used to live in the village 40 years ago so I managed to steer most of the conversation away from religion. I did of course end up coming away with a leaflet! Not a problem. :-)
