Winter and Autumn …

… depending on your altitude. This is a snowy close up of the first part of the exciting walk across the front of the Grand Muveran (full size in extra) called the Frête de Saille which I traversed with a friend on 10th October. No one will go across that face till July of next year from now on! I was lucky to get this shot as the sun was only out for about half an hour on this wet and cloudy day.
