Back to Back Hi viz

A grim start to the day.   North-east wind and 'gaie weet' according to the Current Mrs Creel.  You'd never hear Christopher Blanchett saying this, but it wis fair peeing doon.  The first point of discussion was whether it was Anne Groat's daughter guiding vehicles on to the ferry.  Whoever it was, she did it with aplomb.  Creel HQ has been abandoned for a residential course in the Hoy Kirk.  Then two nights in Hoy including a visit to Flotta for the previously postponed harvest home.  On arrival in Hoy l notice the coffee grinder is absent and CMC indicates she has given him three days off to visit his cousin in Wick.  A text from Desmond indicates his egg slicer is missing.  He suspects that Blanche is using it as an autoharp as part of her act.  I noticed that, only whilst driving his tractor, that CMC's brother persists on wearing his Margaret  Drabble t shirt.  And, whilst in a stream of unconsciousness,  Bernard has broken it off with Mrs McGurgle.  Ending on a good note, our Easter Ross correspondent has texted to say she has at last tested negative.  Without a paragraph in site l went into the hills with my binoculars to search for metaphors.
