Backlit

A much better day's weather and after some paperwork I took myself up to the Chase again to capture the autumn colours.  I found a track through one of the slades (a local term for a valley or glade) where there is an abundance of beech trees in previous years and it didn't disappoint.

While I did take other images of the path through the wood, I just liked how this small branch of leaves had been aught by the sunlight that had managed to penetrate through the trees.
