Our cozy entrance with Christmas lights. :)
First chore was to continue with our lemon tree. It's riddled with a special kind of lice that builds a shield over itself. The good thing is that they stay put and don't jump around, so easy to remove with the right mix of liquids. The bad thing is that they are masters of disguising themselves and they look like something on the stem. Easier to spot on the leaves, but the stem... that's were it's problematic. I work with gloves when I'm handling those.
Then I changed chore to continue with the honey jars. Several of them, 28 to be precise, needed a label. The labels are cut out in paper and then covered in sticky plastic sheet. Then I wrapped 5 of them in cellophane, made tags with aquarelle leaves on and then tied ribbons in green, yellow and orange around the jar and then made a bow.
I've been really tired today and had a headache. Several coworkers are home sick and one left during the day to go home. Something is circulating so I'm resting this weekend, beside the chores I have.
I was going to do eco printing with leaves on paper, but I think that will have to wait a couple of days.
