Pulpit Rock!

Arrived in Stavanger this morning and after getting off the ship and touring the town we booked a boat trip down a Fjord that the cruise ships couldn't travel down to view Pulpit Rock.

The top picture is one I took from below this famous rock, you can just see one person right on the edge of the rock if you look carefully.

The bottom pic is one I took from a card that's shows you the perspective of viewing from the top.

We really would have liked to have gone to the top but on enquiring at the Information Centre we were told you needed to take a bus to the foot of the rock then a two hour hike up a winding path and we would have missed the ship for our return to UK so the boat trip was our best option.
