Across the Tay

A morning trip across the bridge to Dundee and Mrs AMK achieved success in the shopping for our annual Thanksgiving meal with friends in a few weeks.

The sun appeared briefly between showers as we returned across the bridge and I could see a blip opportunity with the river looking very calm so we stopped on the road to Tayport for the shot. 

No sooner taken and the rain was back again and the sky was grey.
As we drove home it was very obvious from the large ponds in some fields that the October rainfall had been the highest since records began in the 1800s.
