GREEN WITH ENVY

It's Silly Saturday....and , to me, this is a silly looking lizard...its head looks to be too large for the rest of its body.  It's a Solomon Is. Lizard.  Where are the Solomon Islands?  "Solomon Islands is a country consisting of six major islands and over 900 smaller islands in Melanesia, part of Oceania, to the northeast of Australia."   (Wiki)

It's actually a skink and is the largest in the world.  It even has a prehensile tail.

Lizards make great pets.  1) you don't need to take them for a walk  2) they require very little for care  3) you don't have to clean up after them  4) on cold days they'll love to curl up in your warm hands.  5) and they don't bark and keep the neighbors up all night.

Their diet is mostly dark leafy greens, 30% other vegetables and 10% fruit.  Strictly vegetarian.....easy diet to maintain year round.
