An intriguing doorway
My train journey down south to Reading means I have to cross London from Euston to Paddington, so like blipper Puffin I’m trying to find new (free) places to visit on my way. This is the entrance to the Foundling Museum in Bloomsbury, which houses a fascinating display from the days when babies and young children were left at the original hospital by mothers who were unable to care for them but hoped to come back to take them home at a later date.
Tonight we went to the firework display at the grandchildren’ school.
