Sasak village crafts

We rehired the same driver as yesterday to take us from Senggigi down to Kuta, with stops to explore Lombok's biggest mosque and visit some craftshops including some run by people in a Sasak village.

Our new hotel isn't quite as nice as the Katamaran and is really quiet. It's not far from a new motor racing circuit (and was apparently very busy last week when the MotoGP was held), and about a 20 minute walk from the nearby village (Kuta Mandalika). Still it has a nice pool, does cocktails in a 'happy hour' that lasts about three hours, and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
