Damp

Another day of frequent torrential downpours. Merlin and I waded around the field again this morning. He found all the water exciting and entertained me by leaping ditches and charging through puddles. I have to admit it was a joy to be walking in the fresh air.

We got another soaking on our afternoon walk so we’ve put the log burner on - the first time this year and are now feeling toasty. Andy’s delicious chilli con carne for dinner has also helped.
