Iris's Sunrise

This blip is dedicated to Iris, from Deaf Aotearoa. If it hadn't been for Iris, The Mistress would never have seen the sunrise!

Iris booked The Mistress's taxi at 7.50am, but emailed to say it was booked at 6.50am. By the time The Mistress noticed the time it was late last night, so, not to take any chances, The Mistress set the alarm for 6.20am thinking if the taxi did come early, she could send it away for an hour.

As it was - the taxi came at the right time, and this gave the Mistress time to sit down, have a cuppa, have a long shower and see the amazing sunrise - something she doesn't normally see at all, and this morning - it was SPECTACULAR. When the Mistress first saw it she muttered an expletive then RAN to get me. Then she ran onto the road in her socks to take a photo, then RAN out the back to get this one. She's never moved sooooooo fast!

This deep red disappeared very quickly, then went into to orange and pink tones over the vineyard.

So than you Iris for your mistake - it was very very much appreciated by us both!
