Day 2: Resort

Thankfully woke up to a lovely sunrise and great sea view. Recovered from the after effects of more Prosecco than is wise with a strong coffee on the balcony. Our room is right on the end of the hotel so the view one way is just volcanic rock nothingness and the other way down to the marina /harbour. where what I thought were big buildings last night turn out to be super yachts. Very quiet and relaxing and I love that it is banned to book sun loungers with towels at dawn :-).

I wasn’t expecting too much from Lanzarote but I like it here! The hotel isn’t quite as nice as its sister hotel in Fuerteventura but I think the setting is in a way better. More in nature and peaceful.
