Progress...

...on a couple of things...

I had a lazy morning, reading and drinking coffee.

Then decided to tackle my holly tree!  It is quite tall and every so often I have to cut the top off so it doesn't interfere with the BT cable above it - it's not my cable so I don't want the holly tree to pull it down in the event of a storm!  So... I bought a mini chainsaw and I attacked it this morning but I still can't reach up high enough to lob the top off.  I will need to stand on the big ladder which is one that you prop against a wall (or in this case, tree) so I need someone to come and help me - mainly because I am not good with ladders and heights!!!

The other night I started a pastel drawing of Rosie but it was utter s****!  So, I started a new one this afternoon and it's better...  Take my word for it!!!  It's not finished yet and needs lots of work but I was starting to lose light so called it a day.  Pastels were my go to media in school and beyond but I had to look up a couple of YouTube videos to get me going again.  Layers... build up the colour layers then add the details...
