Reflections at Kilmelford
I have taken so many photographs of stunning Argyll today that it has been very difficult to choose a blip. In the end, this scene at Kilmelford is the 'winner'. I snapped it when we were heading to the Isle of Seil for today's walk.
We parked the car in Ellenabeich, then followed the coastline on foot to Cuan. From there we walked back over the hills to Ellenabeich again. Along the route we saw a polystyrene stone circle, dodged cattle with calves, crunched across slate beaches, photographed rainbows, petted ponies, and admired the wonderful views. We were disappointed that there wasn't anywhere for refreshments in Cuan, but happily found cake back in Ellenabeich at the Oyster Bar.
This is the last evening of our wee break so we're now off to the hotel bar with Azul* so that we will return home having at least played one game. Then it will be time for dinner. Having missed out on lunch, I am very hungry!
*Score: 1 all.
Exercise today: walking (12,882 steps).
