Longhope Pier

We have been blessed with a beautiful weekend.  Aided by CMC’s brother and her s-i-l we were able to have a good catch up with activities and plans at the Hoy Kirk.  CMC’s nephew has also indicated he is free to do some work at the Bolt Hole.  We intrepidly visited the depths of South Walls / Longhope which we hadn’t done for years.  We even met Mabel outside the old cinema and had a thorough debriefing from her.  New paragraph glides into sight.  

When Dougal came along on Wednesday evening past, CMC had made sticky toffee pudding (obviously Udny Arms recipe).  We ate the remainder on Thursday evening.  You’ve one guess what was for pudding at the Harvest Home on Friday evening.  So today in an idyllic moment in Hoy it felt like Dessert Island Discs.  It was a dream without having to think of Blanch, Desmond, Bernard or Scullion.  Or the Binos.
