During this rather gruelling period of working 7-days a week at worthwhile overtime rates I do make a point of getting out to stretch my eyes during daylight. Today I spotted this intriguing tree that appears to be covered with French beans except for the fact that these pods are just over a foot long. A little research suggests it is probably a catalpa, which I don't believe I have come across before.
