Autumnal Soul Food

Tom and I walked along the Ullswater way. Well, just the bit between Glencoyne car park and Glenridding. What a smashing day. Beautiful shades of yellow, orange and brown.

I drove through Patterdale, up Kirkstone Pass and down The Struggle to Ambleside. It was very busy. We had lunch at Chester’s by the River. Tom had a huge onion bhaji between two equally large pieces of focaccia. After he polished it off I drove us home through the Lakes soaking up the scenery.
