Taking shelter

Another downpour as we left the house (typical!) but thankfully it blew away quite quickly and we had a fab walk down to Loe Bar, through part of the Penrose Estate, coffee at The Stables half way around and then back up through the woods - when we were hit by another downpour! Good timing though as we could take cover there!

Lovely Ced's bagel in the sunshine on our return, a drink at Mussel Shoal where it wasn't quite as bad as the previous night (but we did get caught by an unexpected wave at one point!) and more incredible waves on the way home for a chilled dinner.

And so good to do a six mile walk with Bill - his buggy is fab and having gone for the more robust one it handled the root strewn route through the woods brilliantly!
