On Golden Pond

The early morning sunshine turned areas of the Queens Park pond to liquid gold .....I don't think the gulls were too bothered but I thought it was quite beautiful.

Last Sunday there was no walk in the park before church ..... a torrential downpour kept me in the car reading my book for half an hour or so before the service. Quite different today with a clear blue autumnal sky.
