Shelter

The forecast said it should be dry first thing with rain from lunchtime so we headed off nice and early to our favourite destination when the weather is a bit iffy; Trebah with all its trees to shelter under!

And sure enough we managed one loop before the heavens opened! Kept going for a short while but had to admit defeat when it was obvious it wasn't going to stop anytime soon!!!!

As the groomer had done such a good job with Bill's nails on Monday we booked him in for a tidy up and he had his first-ever bath and blow dry!! A bit fluffy but she did a fab job and apparently he was completely chilled too which was great to hear. 

Takeaway dinner from Mussel Shoal as not sure they'd be open after today with the forecasted storm - quite delicious!


PS. Bill's not in his buggy the whole time! He's actually walking a reasonable bit (well reasonable compared to what he's wanted to do at home recently!) but it's brilliant for when he decides to stop, on hills or we want to go that bit faster!
