Cover

I went up early today and had in mind to  finish chopping and stacking the woodpile but got caught up in some guitar playing after breakfast which meant I didn't get out until after lunch. The weather was going to be fine all afternoon so I had time. I didn't mean to have another photo of wood but it was all I had for today. I was thinking I could write a book called "Wood I've met", and use this exceptionally beautiful piece of cloven wood as a cover photo (I'm not entirely serious).

Anyway, someone had changed opinion about the weather and it started to rain before I could finish so I still have a few hours left to do. Tomorrow, after being at the dentist, it looks like I can have another go at finishing but I'm a bit dubious about it. I should have done it a couple of months ago.
