Late in the day, when all thoughts of garden photography were gone, a little head appeared on the back fence, beautifully lit in the early evening light.

I picked up the trusty camera, doubting that he would hang around. But he did and no wonder - he had a delicious dinner to feast upon whilst enjoying the return of some pleasant autumn weather.
