From Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill is an amazing view point four miles from Lboro. Met W at 9 and we started what is quite a steady ascent through some muddy fields, stunning woodlands and on to this craggy summit. It was busy with groups of students running, many lovely dogs plus owners and some very beautiful horses being ridden along the paths. Lboro is just behind the trees below. Stopped at the cafe on the way down. Then goodbye hugs and set off home about 1. A good steady run, no incidents. Tired now, a happy weekend.
