Parking in the Dales

Finding a place to park in little Yorkshire Dales villages can be quite a challenge. Yesterday we gave up our attempt to visit the Brontë museum in Haworth because we simply could not find anywhere to park. We overcame that problem today by getting there early just as the museum opened.
This afternoon we visited the lovely Dales village of Grassington. This picturesque parking area was closed, perhaps because the ground was too saturated after the recent rain.
