Oystercatcher
First attempt with the new telephoto lens. There was a flock of Sanderling on the shore, feeding on the insects on the seaweed. Then I saw this Oystercatcher - Gille Brigdhe in Gaelic (the servant of St Bridget). Normally they fly off noisily before you get near them, but with my 500 mm at least I can see the details. More practice required...
